Import and Export Formats
- Import and export file formats keeps connectivity across project team involved. GstarCAD is able to Import: WMF, SAT and 3DS file formats. And export file formats: DWF, DWFX, WMF, SAT, STL, EPS, DXX, BMP.

External References
- External references like DWG, DWF, DWFX, PDF and raster images can be opened, inserted and managed from the external reference palette. When you attach a drawing file as an xref, you link that referenced drawing to the current drawing. Any changes to the referenced drawing are displayed in the current drawing when it is opened or reloaded.

DWF Underlay
- DWF underlay is similar to attached raster images in that they provide visual content but also support object snapping and clipping. Unlike external references, underlays cannot be bound to the drawing.

- Publishing an electronic drawing set as a DWF, DWFx, PDF file saves time and increases productivity by providing accurate, compressed representations of drawings in a file that is easy to distribute and view. This also maintains the integrity of your original drawings.

- Etransmit provides a compact way to package a set of files for Internet transmission. When you select a set of drawing files in a transmittal package, it automatically includes all related dependent files such as xrefs and font files.

- Hyperlinks are simple and powerful ways to associate a variety of documents (such as other drawings, blocks, bills of materials, or project schedules) with a drawing.

Attribute Extraction
- Extract attribute data, informational text associated with a block, into a file. You can specify the file format for the attribute information, the objects from which you want to extract information, and the template and output file names for the information.

Plot Styles
- A plot style is an object property, similar to linetype and color. A plot style can be assigned to an object or assigned to a layer. Using plot styles gives you great flexibility because you can set them to override other object properties or turn off the override as needed.

Plot Style Table Editor
- You can add, delete, rename, and copy plot styles in a named plot style table using the Plot Style Table Editor. The Plot Style Table Editor is also used to change plot style settings for both named and color-dependent plot style tables.

Edit Reference Tab
- Users can quickly select an edit reference option from its ribbon tab like save and discharge changes, add or remove from working set when editing a block as a reference by executing the command REFEDIT.
