Neofame Successfully Hosted 'GstarCAD Community Event 2012'

Beijing, China: February 29, 2012—GstarCAD, an industry leading 2D/3D CAD software provider today announced that its exclusive distributor Neofame in Malaysia together with By Tones, the local reseller from Penang has successfully conducted a 'GstarCAD Community Event 2012' seminar at Traders Hotel Penang, Malaysia on 23rd February 2012.

This seminar was attended by approximately one hundred and fifty (150 pax) participants from the Federal Department of Malaysia such as Malaysian Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerjaraya, JKR), Department of Irrigation and Drainage Planning (Jabatan Pengaliran dan Saliran, JPS) and Department of Town and Country Planning (Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa, JPBD). Besides, prospects from other various industries have also attended the seminar.

The main objective of the 'GstarCAD Community Event 2012' seminar is to enhance users' understanding and familiarity on the software. The demonstration on the AutoXls function which is one of the key features of the software and GstarCAD MC for iPad was carried out to serve as a refresher for existing users as well as potential users. The upcoming GstarCAD MC on Android was announced, indicating GstarCAD's determination to realize its commitment for continuously meeting user's expectation with new design experience. Neofame personnel also had briefly introduced GstarCAD 2012 new features and benefits to the participants. One of the new features which captured the attention of the participants was Dynamic block with Block Editor Interface. A quick demo was shown on how to assign parameters and actions in giving some additional capabilities on the blocks such as, Array, Rotate and Visibility States. Neofame has extended the invitation to the various public sectors mentioned above with the intention to have a common platform for them to mingle around and to share their experience on the software usage.

There was a Question & Answer (Q&A) session for audience on the floor when Neofame has done with the demonstration and briefing on the software. This has helped the participants to raise any doubts or questions regarding the software, be it commercial or technical. Audience participates actively in this session and lastly a handful of participants have won the Lucky Draw gift sponsored by Neofame. The participants were impressed with the features and benefits of GstarCAD and were convinced that this is the software that could bring improvement to their everyday design. They indeed have a fruitful day and taken away precious knowledge with them at the end of the seminar.
