Date: 2012-06-07

Earlier this month, Eric Jackson caused hot debate by predicting that Google and Facebook would disappear completely in the next five years because of adaption problem in the new generation of Internet-Mobile World. Later Haydn Shaughnessy and George and Anders listed their reasons that Google and Facebook won’t disappear in five years time.

Whether these two tycoons in network time will disappear, we don’t know. But we have to admit that mobile devices play a more and more important role in people’s lives. It’s true that we get more convenience by using these smart devices, such as watching videos, chatting with friends or sharing anything we want on the go. This becomes a trend no matter we notice it or not.

For CAD software industry, it’s inevitable to be affected by mobile world. People want to view or edit their drawings where computers are not accessible. That can explain why software apps on mobile sprung out like mushrooms recently. Those companies who have not mobile products are trying to develop and those who have are upgrading them. We can’t say that the companies who didn’t march into mobile world will disappear. However, the companies who did this will definitely have extra chance and are a bit more successful.

Among these CAD software providers that are entering to mobile world, GstarCAD is one of them and does well. Gstarsoft launched GstarCAD MC 1.2 last week, an upgrading version compared with its previous mobile client. A serial of exciting new functions have also been unveiled, including approaching attachments in the email or webpage, network hard drive and cloud computing storage applications. From its ever updated mature products on mobile, we can see that it’s a company with great potential. GstarCAD surely better suited to the new generation Internet era and unceasingly bring pleasant surprise to its customers!
